PERFORMANCE & fuel Economy
Performance:
Fitted with a 50 HP E-Tec outboard the Solent Fisher will give a top speed of aproximately 30 mph fitted with a 15' propellor. An economical cruising speed using 3500/4000 engine revs should give aproximately 22 mph.
It is also powerful enough to pull ringos or a waterskier with ease.
Fuel economy:
Fitted with a 50 HP E-Tec outboard the Solent Fisher at a cruising speed of about 22 mph should do aproximately 1.5 to 2 miles per litre using a steady throttle in flat conditions.This engines fuel economy is comparable to that of a 50 HP Four stroke because it is fuel injected.
This will therefore give an excellent range for coastal fishing with just one 25 ltr fuel tank supplied. A second fuel tank can of course be carried onboard.
